BHG Financial (originally known as Bankers Healthcare Group, Inc.) is an American company and direct lender that provides financing for commercial and consumer borrowers throughout the U.S. Initially known for their financing of licensed healthcare professionals, BHG has expanded their customer profile, product line, and services over the years to include credit cards, patient lending, point of sale financing, small business funding, SBA, and risk management. BHG financial has become one of the largest and most successful fintechs in the United States.

Eric sits on the board of several respected companies and organizations. He was accepted into the Forbes Business Council and has earned multiple awards like the Apogee Award for Excellence, and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur, to name a few.

Eric has a deep passion for effective leadership and execution. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Eric quickly learned the importance of having a strong leader to guide a motivated group toward significant accomplishments. He puts this experience and knowledge to work in advising teams on how to break barriers and reach new heights.

Eric’s leadership role is most prominent in his personal life. He is a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. Along with his loving wife Barbie of 28 years, he has raised two talented young ladies who have inherited many of Eric’s entrepreneurship characteristics.

Eric is highly focused on his family and wellness. Mind, body, and spirit never take a back seat. He continuously seeks knowledge through books and other individuals in order to grow and seek his full potential. His drive to share what he learns with those closest to him and help them become better versions of themselves is endless. Eric has a heart of gold and is genuinely humbled by his success and accomplishments. This is evident in causes that are important to Eric. The Wounded Warrior Project, Make-A-Wish, YMCA, NAMI, the Jack & Jill Center, CUSP Foundation, and several other organizations are near and dear to his heart. Using his knowledge and success to help others is one of his passions.
