Michael Horvitz has had three successful businesses with three different partners: commercial real estate, defaulted mortgages and manufacturer and distributor of electric fireplaces and bathroom vanities. He has worked in USA, Canada and China.
Mr. Horvitz sold Twin-Star to a private equity firm in April 2007. He retired in May 2008. He was able to grow Twin-Star from $300,000 annual sales to approximately $100m with only $150,000 investment and no debt.
He has experience in consumer debt consolidation, computer hardware & software internet sales, leasing of medical monitoring devices. Mr. Horvitz loves investments having strong, growing cash flows, credit card charge-offs, low LTV loans, monopolistic real estate, special purpose hedge funds, dividend paying stocks, muni bonds, strategic venture investments.
In 1982, he graduated from Syracuse University summa cum laude and moved to Florida. He received Florida’s CPA, Series 7, Insurance, Mortgage Broker and Real Estate salesman licenses.
